DESCRIPTION:EVENT DETAILS\nThanks to the South Australian Government and South Australian Tourism Commission\, Swimming Australia is delighted to be heading to the SA Aquatic & Leisure Centre for its pinnacle event in 2021. Excitingly this marks the third consecutive Olympic / Paralympic qualification event staged in Adelaide. \nThe 2021 Australian Swimming Trials will attract Australia’s best\, as they compete to be nominated to the Australian team to compete at the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games. \nQualifying times must be achieved after 1 January 2019. \nMinimum age is 13 years for females and 14 years for males. \nMinimum Age for MC swimmers is 12 years. \nAge is taken as at the first day of competition\, which is 12 June 2021.

DESCRIPTION:EVENT DETAILS\n\n\n\n\nThe 2021 Australian Swimming Championships will see Australian titles awarded to open and top age athletes. Heats will be swum combined with three finals per event\, with the youngest age swum first. \nIn a point of difference to recent program schedules\, finals will be swum in the morning and heats in the evening\, replicating and preparing athletes for what they will experience in Tokyo.

SUMMARY:2021 Australian Age Swimming Championships
DESCRIPTION:EVENT DETAILS\n\n\n\n\nThe 2021 Australian Age Swimming Championships is a favoured event on the swimming calendar. With COVID-19 halting the event in 2020\, the 2021 edition is set to be one of the biggest yet. The event will form part of the selection process for the international junior benchmark events for 2021. \nA change to the program will see the multi-class age and multi class open Australian championships staged at the beginning of the event\, with the able-bod events commencing on 7 April. \nQUALIFYING TIMES\nSwimming Australia has been monitoring how swimmers’ have been progressing due to COVID-19 over the summer.\nWe are pleased to advise that we have revised the QT’s which can be found under the competitors tab below which will allow more swimmers’ to qualify given the difficult year it has been across our community. \nCOVID SAFE PLAN AND TICKETING\nSwimming Australia is working through its COVID safe obligations and will have more information regarding ticketing in the near future. We appreciate your patience as we navigate these challenges. \nWILL THE EVENT GO AHEAD?\nWe’re planning full steam ahead for our April events on the Gold Coast.
