We could not be more proud of Fergus McLachlan, who has had an outstanding International debut at the 2022 Junior Pan Pacific Championships in Honolulu, Hawaii. \"\ud83d\udc9a\"\"\ud83d\udc9b\"\"\u2764\ufe0f\"\"\ud83d\udc99\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not only did he finish in 4th-place finish in the 100 back and 2nd in the B final of the 200 back…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also came home from Hawaii with the best souvenir possible – a silver medal!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fergus was part of the 4×100 medley relay, which has claimed silver at the Junior Pan Pacs, just 0.31 behind the Americans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fergus\u2019s lead-off swim of 55.81 was also a PB. \"\ud83d\udc4f\ud83c\udffb\"\"\ud83d\udc4f\ud83c\udffb\"\"\ud83d\udc4f\ud83c\udffb\" Amazing achievement and just reward for all the hard work Fergus puts in. Everyone at Norwood is so proud. \"\ud83d\udc9a\"\"\ud83d\udc9b\"\"\u2764\ufe0f\"\"\ud83d\udc99\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And all in a year when he\u2019s completing Year 12!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We know this is just the start, Fergus, and we can\u2019t wait to see where this swimming journey takes you. \"\ud83d\udc9a\"\"\ud83d\udc9b\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n
