We could not be more proud of Fergus McLachlan, who has had an outstanding International debut at the 2022 Junior Pan Pacific Championships in Honolulu, Hawaii. 
Not only did he finish in 4th-place finish in the 100 back and 2nd in the B final of the 200 back…
He also came home from Hawaii with the best souvenir possible – a silver medal!
Fergus was part of the 4×100 medley relay, which has claimed silver at the Junior Pan Pacs, just 0.31 behind the Americans.
Fergus’s lead-off swim of 55.81 was also a PB. 
Amazing achievement and just reward for all the hard work Fergus puts in. Everyone at Norwood is so proud. 
And all in a year when he’s completing Year 12!
We know this is just the start, Fergus, and we can’t wait to see where this swimming journey takes you.
