What a massive three days for our team at the South Australian State Open & Multi-Class Championships 2022. Some terrific swims, lots of finals, huge PBs, National Age and Open times, state and club records and medals galore.

Record Winners
Shout out to Brooke Simpson, who today broke the 200 free MC (S10) State record, with a lovely PB swim. And Fergus McLachlan managed to break the SAR record in the 17-year-old boys 50 back (26.85), previously held by Kyle Chalmers (26.98).
Congratulations to our medal winners

Norwood finishes the meet in second place on the points score, with our girls topping the table! Huge congratulations to everyone who swam over the course of the three days. Making even one State Open time is an achievement, and you should all be very proud of yourselves.
Huge thanks to Shaun, Paul and Ed, for coaching the team, our volunteer technical officials and team managers, our parents and supporters and, of course, our swimmers, who dealt brilliantly with some very trying conditions. Thanks also to Shannon Caton for compiling the medal winners and to Brad Keighran for taking the photos tonight. GO NORWOOD.
